Spicy Cajun Shrimp Pasta
Delicious Spicy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until they begin to soften, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and Cajun seasoning and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir well to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine with the pasta and sauce.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top. Stir until the cheese is melted and fully incorporated into the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
